Launched in 2016, Taste of Hope is a community driven initiative that offers free-of-charge culinary training to ethnic minorities, refugees, and other members of the Hong Kong community.
We offer cooking courses that are free-of-charge to ethnic minorities who have the right to work in Hong Kong, as well as to individuals who have obtained or are seeking UN refugee status. Our certified instructor exposes trainees to Asian and Western food preparation, production, and presentation. We also offer cooking workshops and classes open to anyone who wants to improve their cooking skills and connect with people in Hong Kong from all sectors of society. The Taste of Hope training kitchen helps people develop valuable life skills and connections they need to secure a better future for themselves and their families.
